In July 2020, the government announced £96 million of funding to support 16 to 19 providers to mitigate the disruption to learning arising from coronavirus (COVID-19). This is especially important for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged backgrounds.
ACHS received £7,608 which is used to provide targeted small group tuition across our Sixth Form curriculum and also to provide support for Maths and English students who didn't achieve Grade 4 at GCSE.
Additional funding has been announced for 2023 - 2024 and this will be used to expand the support on offer to include other subjects.
