Extremely hot weather and a cancelled trip to York Chocolate Story, led to a cooler (but still very warm) visit from Kevin, Owner of The Canny Chocolate Company to show everyone his Chocolatier Skills and then the students created their own chocolate lollies and buttons!
He demonstrated how to temper chocolate and explained that is what creates the 'snap' when chocolate is broken. Everyone got involved and soon learnt that making chocolate lollies is fun and can be messy too.
The end results were very impressive and tasty!
