Equality Policies, Objectives and Information

We pride ourselves on our inclusive approach to supporting students with both their academic and personal development. We are a community which values individuality in all its forms and our staff are committed to supporting all students regardless of background, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation.

Our Equality Policy sets out our commitment to eliminate discrimination, advance equality of opportunity and foster good relations. We recognise that this is an important aspect of the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of our pupils.

Our Equality and Diversity in Employment Policy explains our approach to promoting diversity amongst our workforce.

Additional information and support with managing or understanding your own or other's LGBTQ concerns (beyond the support already offered in school) can be found at:

Any proposals the governing body is currently contemplating which may have an impact of people with protected characteristics such as disability, race and sexual orientation require an Equalities Impact Assessment to be undertaken. There are no current proposals with an equality impact assessment.
