Joel Butler from Christ Church College, Oxford University gave a presentation to Year 11 and Year 12 students this morning. The main topics of discussion included course choices, student finance, entry requirements, bursaries, the range of courses available, clubs and societies and he also gave advice on the best subjects to study at A Level in order to study specific courses at University.
He discussed career destinations for Oxford graduates and quashed preconceived ideas about typical Oxford students, emphasising that the University welcomes all students irrespective of background. Oxford tutors look for the best students for all courses.
