We are very proud of Daniel R and his sister Dazie's massive achievement at the weekend. Around 7 weeks ago, they signed up to and joined NACF - Northumbria Army Cadet Force.
On Sunday the 20th April they had the chance to participate in the St George's Day parade. Even though they hadn't been with the detachment long, they showed willing and determination and, in front of a massive turn out of people in Ashington, they took part in the parade that was over 90 members strong. They had perfect formation and timing and marched alongside others that have been attending Cadets for months, some even years and we are all extremely proud.
Their sergeant couldn't find one fault at all - they marched like they'd done it a hundred times before, yet, it was their very first time.
We are immensely proud of Daniel and Dazie as is their Detachment at Cramlington they even made ITV News that night.
