The Astley Community High School year 9 Community Group, Mrs Scott, Mrs Crossman, Mrs Hodge and Mrs Ferron put on a fantastic Afternoon Tea for local residents and parents/carers on Wednesday 3 July in our Sixth Form Centre.
The Afternoon Tea was organised by the students who made invitations and bunting for the event as part of their community enrichment lessons.
The food was excellent thanks to Mrs Hodge and Mrs Ferron and the 30 plus year 9 students, Mrs Scott and Mrs Crossman did a great job in serving and looking after the residents of our local community.
