On Thursday 7 November, the year 7 girls braved the horrible weather to attend the annual School Games netball tournament. This year the event took place at Cramlington Learning Village and consisted of five teams.

Arriving at CLV we were pleased to hear that the games had been moved inside. We played a total of four games, winning three and drawing one. As the girls had the same amount of points as CLV B team and the same goal difference, the two teams played an unexpected final. After a tense start, the Seaton Sluice team took the lead and dominated the game. The final score was 4-2 to Seaton Sluice so we will be heading to the School Games final come the summer.

Abby, the team captain, said: “We have trained so hard and are pleased it paid off. We are all excited to go to the School Games!”
