Visit to Northumbria University

ACHS Sixth Form students spent the day at Northumbria University on Friday 13 December. They met current students and participated in critical thinking skills exercises before they found out about courses, accommodation, student finance and lots more information about university life.

After a free lunch in the Northumbria University refectory students were given a campus tour. They looked around the different academic faculties, the students’ union building and the thirty-million pound sports facilities. To conclude a fun day, the Sports Coaching students organised a series of games of dodgeball in the sports hall.
