During science lessons on world book day Y9 and Y10 chemistry students experienced no pen lessons including plasticine modelling of covalent bonds and practical skill demonstrations of titration. In Chemistry they also listened to short stories by Joanne Harris.  In Physics Y9 students created role plays and presentations on solids, liquids and gases. Y10 physicists explored forces with key word games, online quizzes and videos. Y10 Biologists used video demonstrations and Oracy activities to plan a required practical activity for next week.  

Y9 biologists completed a card sort describing the flow of blood around the body then modelled this, becoming the circulatory system themselves. 

Y10 biologists marched keywords to their definitions learning about homeostasis. They then played taboo trying to guess the keyword being described by their partner.

Y10 biologists used video demonstrations and Oracy activities to plan a required practical activity for next week .
