During Activities Week in July we welcomed Martyn and Dawn (from Animal Story.co.uk) with a wide variety of their animals into school. Students enjoyed learning about each animal, their native environment and how they are care for. They held or touched most of the animals (the scorpion and tarantula were off limits!) as you can see from the pictures. We even had Freddie the frog putting on a show for is on the chair leg! He was soon brought back into safe hands!
Some of our visitors included a crested gecko, cockroach, rosy boa python, Freddie the frog, blue tongue skink, Chilean rose tarantula, leopard gecko, west African snail, millipede, Asian forest scorpion, fossil leopard tortoise, boa snake, west African Savannah tenrec and a panda skunk.
