Yesterday our Year 5 pupils at Whytrig Middle School took part in a workshop session - We're on the Same Team - aimed at tackling bullying and discrimination in schools. The children learnt the importance of kindness, inclusion and respect and listened to inspirational stories from Rugby League stars including some with disabilities who have gone on to have successful sporting careers.
Everyone enjoyed the sessions and participated in the group discussions and activities.
