Year 12 students had the opportunity to visit Northumbria University on Friday 16th December. We were given a tour of the campus with some current students and visited their Law facilities, the Sports Faculty and to enjoyed a tour of the Mechanical Engineering Department.
Students were given a workshop on critical thinking and were shown how to apply for the NU Entry Scheme which gives eligible students the opportunity to engage with the university before they apply and also to receive a lower offer (see link below for more info). We were then treated to a Subway lunch and rounded the afternoon off with a game of dodgeball in the giant sports hall.
