Funding has been received in Northumberland by the DfE via Northumberland Communities Together which pledges to help families make their holidays fabulous!
This is primarily for those in receipt of income based Free School Meals. They have also secured some additional funding to enable them to offer support to those on low income, those with large families, those with a disability in the household or genuinely finding times tough.
Bookings for the 2023 Summer Holidays will be open from July 3rd at 10am until July 21st at 2pm – a 3 week booking period
Leading Link are managing the Holiday Activity Provision on behalf of Northumberland County Council working with the North East Child Poverty Trust, National Lottery and the Department for Education.
