Today young people aged 11-19 across Northumberland will have the opportunity to vote for their next Youth Cabinet and UK Youth Parliament members.
We are very proud to have two students standing for election: Alfie Henderson and Caroline Peddie.
Alfie is a Youth Parliament Candidate and is promoting the voice and views of young people as well as challenging poverty and ensuring all young people have what they need to thrive. He would also like to ensure all young people have the option of after school clubs.
Caroline is standing as a Youth Cabinet Candidate and wants to raise awareness and support for LGBTQ issues as well as support for the NHS and Local Services - Cost of Living.
