Students recently took part in an exciting ECO school visit to Nissan, where they explored how sustainable technology is shaping the future. They learned about wind turbines and electric cars, gaining a better understanding of renewable energy and how it is used in everyday life. Through hands-on experiments, including winding elastic bands to power small cars and a balloon activity showing how energy is transferred, pupils were able to see these ideas in action.

The visit also included a tour of the shop floor, where students saw a new robot used for sorting and recycling household waste, highlighting the importance of sustainability and innovation. To finish the day, pupils took part in a LEGO building challenge, creating their own designs inspired by everything they had learned. It was an engaging and memorable experience that brought environmental learning to life.
